Backend Engineer,
Software team

We are seeking a highly motivated backend engineer to join our team at Nexite. The ideal candidate will have experience with server-side technologies such as Go or Python, and working knowledge of cloud platforms like GCP.

The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the backend of our web applications, as well as our core backend services using Go, Python and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

●     Develop and maintain the backend of our web applications using Go and Python

●     Work with our team to design and implement new features and functionality

●     Collaborate with our DevOps team to deploy and manage our applications on GCP using Kubernetes

●     Troubleshoot and debug any issues that arise in the application

●     Continuously improve the codebase by following best practices and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies

Key Qualifications:

●   Meaningful backend experience working with complex services (Go/Python is an advantage)

●   Experience with cloud platforms like GCP

●     Strong understanding of web application architecture and best practices

●     Working knowledge of MySQL/NoSQL database technologies

●     Ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment

●     Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Kubernetes – advantage

●     Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail

●     Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

●     High level spoken and written English
